Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: January 1, 2026
Welcome to MedBio Resumes. These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase and use of resume writing, CV writing, LinkedIn profile development, cover letter writing, career document services, consultations, and other professional services provided by MedBio Resumes.
By purchasing services from MedBio Resumes, submitting payment, or otherwise engaging us to begin work, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Services
MedBio Resumes provides professional resume, CV, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and related career document writing and consulting services.
Our services are customized based on the information provided by the client, including career history, accomplishments, education, credentials, target positions, job descriptions, and career objectives.
The exact services included in your project are determined by the package or individual services purchased at the time of engagement.
Any services not specifically included in the purchased package may require an additional fee.
2. Payment
Payment is required before work begins unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
By submitting payment, you authorize MedBio Resumes to begin allocating time and resources to your project.
All payments are non-refundable once services have been purchased and work has commenced. At our sole discretion, MedBio Resumes may issue a credit toward future services in exceptional circumstances.
Prices may change at any time. Any pricing changes will not affect services that have already been purchased and paid for.
3. Client Responsibilities
The quality and accuracy of your final documents depend heavily on the information you provide.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information regarding their employment history, education, credentials, certifications, publications, research, clinical experience, technical expertise, accomplishments, leadership experience, and other relevant qualifications.
Clients are also responsible for responding to questions and providing requested materials or feedback in a timely manner.
MedBio Resumes will not knowingly fabricate qualifications, credentials, employment history, publications, research, clinical experience, regulatory experience, scientific accomplishments, metrics, or other professional information.
If information necessary to complete the project is missing, inaccurate, or delayed, the project timeline may be extended.
4. Accuracy and Final Review
While MedBio Resumes makes every reasonable effort to produce accurate, polished documents, clients are responsible for reviewing all final materials carefully.
The client is ultimately responsible for confirming the accuracy of dates, job titles, company names, degrees, certifications, credentials, publications, research information, clinical information, technical terminology, metrics, and all other factual content before using or submitting the documents.
By approving or using a document, the client accepts responsibility for the accuracy of its contents.
MedBio Resumes is not responsible for consequences resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information supplied by the client.
5. Turnaround Times
Any turnaround time provided by MedBio Resumes is an estimate unless a specific expedited service has been purchased and a delivery date has been confirmed in writing.
Project timelines generally begin once payment has been received and MedBio Resumes has received the information necessary to begin the project.
Delays in providing requested information, completing consultations, answering questions, or reviewing drafts may extend the project timeline.
Turnaround times may also vary depending on project complexity, revisions, holidays, or other circumstances.
6. Revisions
MedBio Resumes wants clients to be confident in their final documents and provides revisions according to the scope of the service purchased.
Revision requests should relate to the original project scope and career direction discussed during the project.
A substantial change in career direction, target position, industry, or document strategy after drafting has begun may constitute a new project or require an additional fee.
For example, developing a resume for a clinical operations leadership position and subsequently requesting that it be repositioned for a substantially different research, commercial, regulatory, academic, or healthcare role may require additional work outside the original project scope.
Revisions do not include unlimited creation of alternative versions for different job targets unless specifically included in the purchased service.
7. Project Participation and Abandonment
Resume and career document development is a collaborative process.
Clients are expected to provide requested information and participate in the review process within a reasonable period of time.
If a client stops responding, fails to provide requested information, or otherwise discontinues participation after work has begun, the project may be considered inactive or abandoned.
Work already performed remains non-refundable.
MedBio Resumes is not responsible for delays caused by a client's failure to respond or provide necessary information.
8. Career Changes and Additional Targeted Versions
Your documents will be developed around the career direction and target positions established during the project.
A resume or CV cannot always effectively target substantially different types of positions simultaneously.
If you decide to pursue a significantly different career direction after work has begun or after your documents have been completed, MedBio Resumes may recommend an additional targeted version. Additional versions are not included unless specifically stated in your purchased package.
9. LinkedIn Services
When LinkedIn profile writing is purchased, MedBio Resumes provides written content and recommendations for the client's LinkedIn profile.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the client is responsible for entering or uploading the provided content into LinkedIn.
LinkedIn periodically changes its platform, character limits, features, search functionality, and algorithms. MedBio Resumes cannot guarantee how LinkedIn will display, rank, distribute, or otherwise use profile content.
10. ATS and AI Recruitment Systems
MedBio Resumes develops resumes and career documents using current professional practices intended to support readability by Applicant Tracking Systems and modern recruiting technologies.
However, Applicant Tracking Systems, AI screening systems, employer databases, recruiting platforms, and hiring technologies vary significantly.
MedBio Resumes cannot guarantee that a document will receive a particular ATS score, ranking, keyword match percentage, AI assessment, or screening result.
No resume format can guarantee successful processing or selection by every employer's technology.
11. No Employment Guarantee
MedBio Resumes does not guarantee interviews, employment, promotions, compensation increases, recruiter responses, job offers, admission to academic programs, appointments, funding, or any other career outcome.
Hiring decisions depend on many factors outside our control, including a client's qualifications, experience, credentials, geographic location, compensation expectations, interview performance, professional network, labor market conditions, employer requirements, competition, and hiring practices.
Our role is to professionally position and communicate your qualifications. Purchasing our services does not guarantee a particular employment outcome.
12. Specialized and Technical Content
MedBio Resumes works with professionals in specialized fields that may include biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medicine, healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, research, clinical development, regulatory affairs, quality, scientific disciplines, and related industries.
Clients remain responsible for verifying specialized terminology and technical, scientific, medical, regulatory, clinical, academic, and research information contained within their documents.
Our writing and career services do not constitute medical, scientific, regulatory, legal, academic, or professional licensing advice.
13. Confidentiality
MedBio Resumes respects the confidentiality of client information and will use information provided by clients for the purpose of completing the requested services and administering the client relationship.
Clients should not provide confidential employer information, protected health information, patient-identifying information, proprietary research, trade secrets, or other information they are not authorized to disclose.
When describing confidential projects, research, clinical programs, products, or employer information, clients are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide may legally and ethically be included in career documents.
14. Samples and Portfolio Use
MedBio Resumes will not publicly disclose personally identifying client information without permission.
If completed work is used for portfolio, educational, marketing, or sample purposes, identifying information may be removed or altered to protect client privacy unless the client has expressly authorized its use.
Testimonials, names, photographs, or other personally identifying endorsements will only be used in accordance with the permission provided by the client.
15. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client may use, edit, reproduce, and submit the final career documents created specifically for them for their personal career and job-search purposes.
MedBio Resumes retains ownership of its underlying processes, methodologies, questionnaires, templates, design systems, frameworks, instructional materials, and other proprietary business materials.
Clients may not resell, commercially distribute, license, or represent MedBio Resumes' proprietary materials or services as their own.
16. Third-Party Platforms and Services
MedBio Resumes may provide recommendations involving third-party platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, Applicant Tracking Systems, employer career portals, or other recruiting technologies.
We do not control these platforms and are not responsible for changes to their functionality, algorithms, policies, availability, or performance.
Any third-party trademarks referenced remain the property of their respective owners.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MedBio Resumes shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or economic damages arising from the use of our services or career documents.
This includes, without limitation, lost employment opportunities, lost income, unsuccessful applications, hiring decisions, employer actions, or decisions made based on information contained in career documents.
To the extent liability cannot legally be excluded, MedBio Resumes' total liability relating to a purchased service shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
18. Communication
Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact information and monitoring the email address used during the project.
Official project communications will come through communication channels used or identified by MedBio Resumes.
MedBio Resumes is not responsible for communications sent by individuals or organizations falsely claiming to represent MedBio Resumes.
If you receive suspicious communications claiming to be from MedBio Resumes, please contact us directly through the contact information published on our official website before providing personal information or making payment.
19. Refusal or Termination of Service
MedBio Resumes reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service when necessary, including in cases involving abusive or threatening conduct, fraudulent activity, requests to falsify professional qualifications, repeated failure to provide necessary information, or requests that would require unethical or unlawful conduct.
If a project is terminated because of client misconduct or after substantial work has been completed, payments already made may remain non-refundable.
20. Website Information
Information provided on the MedBio Resumes website, blog, social media accounts, emails, and other materials is intended for general informational and career-development purposes.
Career advice and hiring practices change over time and may vary among employers, industries, positions, and geographic locations.
Nothing published by MedBio Resumes should be interpreted as a guarantee of employment or a specific professional outcome.
21. Changes to These Terms
MedBio Resumes may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in services, business practices, technology, or applicable requirements.
The version in effect at the time a service is purchased will generally govern that engagement unless otherwise agreed in writing.
22. Agreement
By purchasing services from MedBio Resumes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, you should not purchase or use MedBio Resumes services.
